Wix Checking: Transfer Out Timeframes
Wix Checking is currently only available to select users in the U.S. If you live in the U.S and your business was formed in the U.S, but you don’t have access to apply for Wix Checking, contact Customer Care.
Wix Checking may also be referred to as Wix Balance.
When you transfer funds from your Wix Checking account, it can typically take 1–3 business days. However, the exact arrival time depends on the receiving bank’s processing speed.
Knowing when your transfer will be initiated and completed can help you plan your cash flow and ensure timely payments. For example, if you need to pay a supplier by a specific date, knowing the transfer timeframe ensures you can meet your obligations without any delays.
Approximate transfer schedule
Typically, transfers will arrive between 1-3 business days. On any business day, the cut-off time for outbound transfers is 7:00PM PT (Pacific Time). Transfers made after 7:00PM PT, or on weekends or holidays, will be initiated on the next available business day.
Example of transfer timeframes
Let's say you make a transfer on Saturday or Sunday. As these are not business days, the exact time you initiated it doesn't matter. Based on the schedule:
The transfer is initiated on Monday (i.e. the next available business day).
The funds will likely be available between Tuesday-Thursday.
Now, let’s say you make a transfer on a Wednesday at 5:00PM PT. As it was initiated before the cut-off time, according to the schedule:
The transfer is initiated on Wednesday (i.e. that same day).
The funds will likely be available between Thursday-Monday.
Finally, consider a transfer made on a Thursday night at 8:00PM PT. As it was initiated an hour after the cut-off time, according to the schedule:
The transfer is initiated on Friday (i.e. the following business day).
The funds will likely be available between Monday-Wednesday.
Important:
Some transfers may take longer due to factors outside of Wix's control. Delays can be caused if additional review and/or further action is required in accordance with the terms in this agreement.

What should I do if my transfer is delayed?
If your transfer is delayed, check if it was initiated after 7:00PM PT or on a weekend/holiday. Delays can also occur if additional review is required.
If none of these conditions apply, contact Customer Care and we'll be happy to investigate.
Does the cut-off time change in different time zones?
No, the cut-off time is 7:00PM PT. It is recommended that you plan your transfers accordingly if you are in a different time zone.
What should I do if I need to make a transfer on a holiday?
If you need to make a transfer on a weekend or holiday, initiate it in advance to ensure it is processed on time. Transfers made on weekends or holidays will be initiated on the next available business day.
