Base44 Payments Powered by Wix: Troubleshooting App Access Issues
Base44 Payments powered by Wix is currently available in select countries.
During the verification process of your Base44 Payments account, we need to access your site/app. If your site/app is inaccessible and cannot be verified, it could disrupt your payment processing and delay payouts.
This guide can help you troubleshoot and resolve these access issues to keep your business running smoothly.
Click below to learn more about the possible causes for access issues and how to resolve them.
Your site/app is not published
For your site/app to be verified, it needs to be published and accessible. If you have not published your site/app yet, you can follow the below steps:
Click Publish at the top right of the app editor.
Click Publish App.

Your app has been deleted
Deleting your Base44 site/app means Base44 Payments cannot scan it for approval. To restore access, you will need to recreate your app and reconnect Base44 Payments.
Your domain is expired
If you have a custom domain connected to your app, and the domain has expired, your site/app will no longer be accessible through that URL.
To check if your domain is expired:
For domains hosted at Base44:
Click Dashboard in your app editor.
Click Domains to manage your domain for that app.
For domains hosted elsewhere: You will need to contact your domain host for further assistance. Once your domain is active again, Base44 Payments will be able to access your site.
Your new domain is still propagating
Domain propagation is the process of updating name servers around the world following any changes to your Domain Name System (DNS) records. It can take up to 48 hours to complete.
Once your domain has propagated, Base44 Payments should then be able to access your site/app.
Your domain has SSL issues
The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security measure used by sites, apps and browsers for communicating over the internet.
To continue the verification process, fix the SSL issues.
A third-party app is restricting your site in certain geographic locations
There are third-party apps that allow you to block traffic to your site from a certain geographic location. Alternatively, this can also be achieved using code.
Remove the restriction within the third-party app or your custom code, and publish your site/app with the changes applied.
